Eesha's CV

Personal Profile

My name is Eesha and i am a pioneering artist who is interested in speculative fiction and painting monuments.

My interest for art really began when i was in secondary school, after completing a art GCSE and passing successfully. My interest for painting and drawing became more prominent when doing tasks within the classrooms along with peers and the teachers and to just truly imagine what it is like to create such imagery from the imagination.

I soon then decided i wanted to take another path into a career of doing games design and animation. Even though it was not exactly my cup of tea at the end, i do hold the key basics of doing animation and basic designs of games

my interests of art also expands into textile work as well. In my spare time i do enjoy to create crotchet patterns from scratch and also to create knitting patterns as well. I particulary like creating large crotchet pieces and to then using my skills of sewing, to create shapes and patterns that are relevant to my subject matter and interests.

Birmingham City University

I am currently completing a fine art degree at BCU for the last 3 years where i have studied and adopted many different key skills and knowledge on different areas. For example in my first year, i played around with material i was not exactly use to, for example, i started to create woodworks for my first project and created these boxes where you could see something inside of. My first area of interest which i had focused on for my first year and second year was migration. i have come from a family who had migrated from india and had made a new life in birmingham, and i wanted to research and showcase this in artworks i wanted to create. so within these wooden lightboxes i had created, i added newspaper images i collected from the archives at the Birmingham library and had used them for this project.

I also created a huge painting that incoporated acrylic paints and also fabric that i sewed onto the piece as well. The painting was of indian
